Sector Scheme Documents (SSDs) relate to the quality management system requirements for specific industry procedures. They set out to identify a common interpretation of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 for Companies and Certification Bodies engaged in highway works.
Where there is an SSD specified it must be used and compliance to the document ensures best practice as appropriate to the nature of the work being undertaken. If a Client and/or company employs another company to work with/for them they must also ensure they are registered to a relevant SSD.
This Schedule of Suppliers provides information to clients and other interested parties listing companies approved to work to the scoping of SSDs as approved by a UKAS accredited Certification Body.
From the Find Suppliers section of this website, select the appropriate search criteria then select Search Suppliers. This will return results for all companies approved against the search criteria selected. Data can be searched based any combination of the following: Scheme, Scope, Certification Body or Region of Operation.
If you amend any search criteria following a previous search, the results screen will be reset. You must reselect Search Suppliers each time in order to return the required data.
The suppliers on this site have paid a subscription to be visible on the public Schedule of Suppliers website but the list of all approved suppliers is held by Lantra Awards (if notified by the company). - Certification Bodies currently require UKAS accreditation.
- To ensure you are working to the current Sector Scheme Document please see the UKAS website: www.ukas.com
- If a SSD is not listed on the UKAS website this means that the scheme is not yet operational and may be in development or not yet started. If you need information on the standards for these schemes please contact the Certification Bodies for information. NB Some schemes will possibly not be developed as product development processes cover them.
- Lantra Awards takes no responsibility for the information contained in the schedule of suppliers. Approved Companies and Certification Bodies are required to maintain with Lantra Awards the current list of the contractors who are approved against the National Highways Sector Schemes. Where there are omissions, errors or delayed deletions this may not have been confirmed to Lantra Awards.
